Our newest antenna, from an idea put forward by the Vero Beach Ham Club, is a small profile, yet highly capable, doublet style antenna for use on the upper bands, designed to take advantage of the upcoming solar cycle.  Multi-band antennas are very convenient: small-profile multi-band antennas that are easy to erect and operate can turn a good POTA activation into a great one. For those occasions, we now offer a multi-band G5RV for 20, 17, 15, 12 and 10 meters in a featherweight, ultra-compact form with exceptional performance up to 100 Watts SSB at a reasonable price.

People familiar with our antennas already know that we have a history of constructing compact, light, and effective antennas. The difference here is that we now offer all of the highly portable characteristics of our regular antennas in a 100-Watt capable reduced footprint Doublet Antenna. A classic 20 Meter Half Wave Dipole requires (when flat-topped) an end-to-end distance of approximately 33 feet. There are occasions when this is just not feasible. The Micro-G5RV can deliver much the same performance with a footprint of just over 25 feet. With this antenna up around 20 –  25 feet, you can experience the performance of a much larger antenna with significantly less hassle.
