This 3D-printed replacement Digirig cover allows you to reduce the size and weight of the OEM cover, for those who need a smaller footprint for man-portable communications operations.
Description
Swap out your OEM Digirig cover with a 3D-printed replacement that reduces both weight and size/bulk by more than 50%.
Weighing in at 0.3oz (compared to the 0.7oz OEM cover) and with a height of 9/16″ (compared to the 1″ OEM cover), this little module helps to fit the Digirig unit in size-sensitive installations, such as radio man-packs.
Note: As with the OEM Digirig case, this unit is NOT IP-rated for water or dust ingress. The USB and audio/serial ports remain unshielded from the elements. The biggest benefit of this unit is the size–nearly half that of the OEM case.
