Description
A brand-new, 3D-printed flush mount cover for removal of the Panasonic FZ-M1 Barcode Reader Module. This unit is custom-designed and built specifically to allow users to remove the factory-installed barcode reader from the FZ-M1 tablet and replace it with a weather-sealed cover–reducing weight and bulk.
APPLICATION
This custom-designed and 3D-printed cover is designed and built specifically for the Panasonic FZ-M1 tablet. The buyer will need to remove the factory barcode reader module (instructions are available online) and then install the new cover using the original hardware, including screws and weather seal. Panasonic FZ-M1 tablet, barcode reader, hardware, module seal, etc. are not included. You will receive only the cover itself.

WARRANTY
Each unit is thoroughly inspected before shipping and should arrive ready to install with no issues. But just in case, this item is warrantied against manufacturer defects/damage during shipment and will be replaced, no questions asked, within 30 days of the date it arrives. After that date, simply reach out to us with any issues/concerns and we will work to find a solution.
WATER INGRESS PROTECTION
Please note that this replacement cover makes use of the original seal provided on the Panasonic FZ-M1, and as such cannot be guaranteed to prevent all water ingress. However, these have been tested on units with good seals and have been shown to have no water ingress with moderate application of water to the replacement cover. We highly suggest inspecting your unit’s seal during the install process, and to take precautions to avoid direct water impact on the unit. This unit has NOT been tested to be compliant with the factory IP65 rating, although again, there should be no issues at all if you have a good seal.You may optionally choose to use a silicone waterproof sealant with the hardware (such as Loctite), although this is not necessary for water ingress prevention if you have a good factory seal.

These units are 3D printed on-demand. We try to keep a few units ready to ship, but depending on demand, we may need to print additional units in order to ship yours out. We will contact you directly after the sale to inform you of the time to print your unit, if required, and an estimated ship date.If we have stock on-hand at the time of sale, your unit will ship within 3 business days (although we try hard to get it out no later than the next day). This unit is shipped using USPS Ground Advantage in order to reduce costs for you. You will be provided a tracking number and your item is fully insured against damage during shipment.
